Cost-Share for South Carolina Forest Landowners – Webinar

Date: August 8, 2022

Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Time Zone: America/New_York

The Sewee Longleaf Conservation Cooperative is hosting a series of workshops for landowners in Georgetown, Williamsburg, Charleston, and Berkeley Counties.

The goal for these events is to help guide landowners through the entire cost-share process, because not only is it tough differentiating the differences in agencies and programs, but the application process itself can be challenging!

In this kick-off webinar, come learn about affordable ways you can enhance and protect your property. Partners will give an overview of their respective financial incentive programs.

Panel experts:

+ Jennie Haskell, The Longleaf Alliance

+ Sam Seawell, Lowcountry Land Trust

+ GraceAnna Cooper & Austin Phillips, South Carolina Forestry Commission

+ Debbie Mann, Natural Resources Conservation Service

+ Nate Eldridge, Quail Forever

+ Brett Beasely, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service

Zoom registration

Following this virtual webinar, private landowners are invited to in-person workshops to ask questions and get assistance on cost-share opportunities for prescribed fire, longleaf, and forest restoration.

Bring your forest management plans to work with experts to figure out which program is right for you AND receive assistance through the application process.
