SUMMARY:Groundcover Restoration Academy - Georgia
DESCRIPTION:Groundcover 201 will guide students through the principles and practices of restoring native plant species in longleaf pine systems.  Native groundcover provides numerous benefits in longleaf pine systems\, from wildlife habitat and food sources\, fuel for frequent prescribed fires\, host plants for pollinator species\, nutrient cycling\, and aesthetic benefits.
