SUMMARY:Learn and Burn Live Fire Event - Alabama
DESCRIPTION:Increase your exposure and gain confidence in conducting a prescribed fire in your woodlands. Attendees will experience a day long “start to finish” prescribed burn. Each person will be assigned to a burn crew managed by an Alabama Certified Burn Manager. Participants will have all day access to observe\, ask questions and experience igniting and hold a burn line in a variety of fuels\, terrains and stand conditions. \n\nRequirements –  *This event is a live fire demonstration.* Participants will participate for the duration of the burn and sign a hold harmless liability disclosure/waiver on the day of the event. Participants must expect to be active all day walking\, wearing proper attire and using hand tools. \n\nWhen will the event take place? \nThe Learn and Burn will be on the FIRST BURN DAY between February 21-25\, 2022\, depending on weather conditions.
