DESCRIPTION:Contact Karen Brown \n  \nLongleaf & the Landowner is designed for historically underserved landowners and land managers interested in longleaf restoration and management. \n\nLearn the economics\, ecology\, and management of longleaf pine and prescribed fire on private lands through a combination of classroom and field instruction.\nInformation on heirs’ property rights and how to seek financial assistance and cost-share opportunities will be presented.\nPresented as part of the Longleaf for All program for America’s Longleaf Restoration Initiative.\n\n  \n  \nThis is a 2.5 day course:\nTuesday January 24th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm\nWednesday January 25th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm\nand Thursday January 26th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm \n  \nApproved for 15 SAF Category I credits. \n  \n  \nLODGING is offered to Academy participants at the Flat Creek Lodge for Tuesday and Wednesday nights. \n  \nLodging can be added using one of the registration options below at $150 per night.
