DESCRIPTION:“Learn & Burn” field days provide private landowners and others interested in learning about prescribed fire with an opportunity to see a live prescribed burn demonstration.\n  \nParticipants will: \n\n+ learn why it is important to burn your woods;\n+ learn proper pre-planning and post-burn follow-up;\n+ discuss liability issues;\n+ view/discuss different burning techniques;\n+ have the opportunity to ask questions of experienced professionals;\n+ learn about opportunities for additional knowledge.\n\n\nWhen will the event take place? \nThe Learn to Burn Field Day will occur on January 16th.
