DESCRIPTION:Contact Karen Zilliox Brown803-607-5466 \n  \nPresented in partnership with the North Carolina Forest Service & North Carolina Tree Farm Program. \n  \nHerbicides & Longleaf will give participants the tools needed to incorporate herbicides into their own unique longleaf management objectives. Herbicide choices regarding site preparation and herbaceous and woody release will be emphasized\, along with the following topics: \n\n – herbicide rates\n– timing of applications\n– application methods\n– surfactants and adjuvants\n– control of invasive and unwanted species\n– preserving native plants during longleaf restoration\n\n  \nSAF and NC Dept. of Ag. Pesticide credits approved \n\nThe Longleaf Alliance cares about the communities where we work. As the COVID-19 pandemic remains a concern to the health and safety of those communities\, we continue to follow the latest science and guidelines on holding in-person events. \n  \nParticipants should not attend if exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19\, or are under isolation or quarantine protocol per the CDC.
