DESCRIPTION:Presented in partnership with Georgia Forestry Commission. \n  \nFire & Longleaf will guide landowners and natural resource professionals through the longleaf-specific considerations to address when planning to burn\, and contribute to achieving more desirable effects when managing with fire.  Staff instructors from The Longleaf Alliance and partner agencies will guide participants through evaluating\, planning\, igniting\, and managing prescribed fires during this 3-day Longleaf Academy. \n  \nWeather-permitting\, there will be a demonstration burn\, or a tour of local areas being managed with fire. \n  \nDates & Times: \nTuesday March 29\, 2022    8:30 am—5:00 pm\nWednesday March 30\, 2022    8:30 am— 5:00 pm\nThursday March 31\, 2022    8:30 am—11:00 am \n  \nApproved for\n16 SAF Category I credits \n\nThe Longleaf Alliance cares about the communities where we work.
