Lynnsey Basala

Lynnsey is a recent South Carolina transplant as she’s originally from St. Louis, MO. Prior to coming on board as Development Director, Lynnsey led development efforts for Ronald McDonald House Charities Wichita. Most of her professional experience includes balancing budgets and spearheading signature events, such as the Man & Woman of the Year campaign for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes walk for the American Diabetes Association, as well as major gifts, annual appeals, and third party fundraisers. She has also worked extensively with families, pediatric cancer survivors, and children with type 1 and type 2 diabetes while supporting program efforts with her previous employers. Lynnsey reached major milestones in 2014 when she successfully raised and exceeded her first $1 million budget and was nominated for the Wichita Business Journal’s 2014 Top 40 Under 40. Lynnsey and her family relocated to Charleston in 2014 after her husband accepted an engineering role with Boeing SC. She loves to play sports, hike and explore the beautiful beaches around Charleston with her husband and three children.
