The Owen Fellowship

The Owen Fellowship of The Longleaf Alliance aims to advance longleaf pine research through a $15,000 scholarship award for graduate students.

The Longleaf Alliance is thrilled to announce Kelly Peterson is the 2022-2024 Fellowship recipient. As a two-year award, the application period for the 2024-2026 Fellowship will open in April 2023.

Volunteer

While The Longleaf Alliance does not have a specific volunteer program, there are occasional and on-going opportunities to support our programs. If you are a reliable undergraduate/graduate student, young professional, or seasoned individual willing to assist with a variety of tasks, please fill out this INTEREST FORM.

Check out our recent collaboration with AMB and Three River Land Trust to plant 2,000 longleaf seedlings in North Carolina (link in bio).
