Herbicides & Longleaf will give participants the tools needed to incorporate herbicides into their own unique longleaf management objectives. Herbicide choices regarding site preparation and herbaceous and woody release will be emphasized, along with the following topics:
- – herbicide rates
- – timing of applications
- – application methods
- – surfactants and adjuvants
- – control of invasive and unwanted species
- – preserving native plants during longleaf restoration
SAF and NC Dept. of Ag. Pesticide credits approved
