Longleaf Foundations is a condensed course from the Longleaf Academy Program, designed for those that would like to begin building a solid foundation of longleaf knowledge. Expert instruction through a combination of classroom lectures, exercises, discussions and field tours will jump-start your longleaf education.

- Cultural & natural history
- Fire and longleaf
- Site preparation
- Seedling quality
- Planting techniques
- Restoring groundcover
- Managing for wildlife
- And local topics
Professional credits pending.
Lodging information:
Private rooms are available on site. Rooms have two twin beds, dresser, desk, and private bathroom. Bed linens and pillows are provided. It is recommended that you bring your own bath towels and all toiletries.

Invoicing for lodging and on-site meals, if available, will be done closer to the event date. Rates are expected to be between $40-$60 per night.
Hotel options are 30-45 minutes away in Andalusia and Brewton.
