Longleaf & the Landowner is designed especially for beginning landowners and those who are ready to take a more active role in the management and ownership of their land.
- Discover how to seek financial assistance for land stewardship activities and apply for cost-share programs.
- Gain a better understanding of heirs’ property issues and helpful resources.
- Learn the economics, ecology, and management of longleaf pine through a combination of classroom and field instruction.

Multiple ways to attend:
Landowner registration – $50 for the course
Landowner waiver – This program has a partial or total fee waiver for landowners to attend who would not otherwise be able to participate. Thanks to the sponsors of the event, cost need not be a barrier for anyone interested in attending to learn.
Professional registration – $100 for the course; SAF credits pending
Lodging is available on site – more details to come.
