Alec Nelson, Ph.D. Candidate in the Integrative Conservation program and Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources at UGA, will present the results of his work to create a Priority Planning toolkit for the Savannah River Clean Water Fund and provide an overview of the web mapping application. The SRCWF is a partnership focused on protecting the water supply for communities and businesses along the Savannah River in Georgia and South Carolina through forest conservation and restoration. He will also present the results of a forest landowner survey that highlights areas of conservation opportunity.

This project was funded through a USFS Landscape Scale Conservation Grant to The Longleaf Alliance by the Georgia and South Carolina Forestry Commissions.
