Hosted by The Longleaf Alliance and the Georgia Forestry Commission
You and your family are invited to join us for the Wayne County Forestry & Wildlife Expo. It’s a free event for the whole family with forestry equipment, food trucks, and MORE!
You’ll get to meet our wonderful partners who can answer all your questions about trees, wildlife, pollinators, and more.
Landowners will be able to network with professionals from over a dozen natural resource related organizations and discover who can help with developing a forest management plan, soil sample testing, or creating a turkey habitat management plan for their property for example.
Find out about wildlife habitat management, forestry equipment, financial assistance opportunities, and more with our wonderful partners, including (but not limited to!) the Georgia Forestry Commission, Wildlife Resources Division – Georgia DNR, The Georgia Conservancy, NRCS, UGA Extension – Wayne County, Land & Ladies, Georgia Power, Seven Rivers RC& D, Georgia Project Learning Tree, Georgia Tree Farm, Georgia Wildlife Federation, and Quail Forever in Georgia.
In case of inclement weather, the rain date for this event is June 4th
