Webinar: Is your site prep helping or hurting your longleaf pine restoration?
Date: October 30, 2023
Time: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Time Zone: America/New_York
Longleaf pine groundcover makes up much of the botanical diversity of longleaf pine systems and is what drives most wildlife populations. It is also a critical fuel component for the successful use of prescribed fire. Your choice of herbicide will not only impact post-planting success of longleaf seedlings but will impact groundcover for decades to come, and ultimately the success or failure of your restoration project.
About the Presenter:
Nathan Klaus, Senior Wildlife Biologist
Nathan has worked in the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Nongame Conservation Section for 22 years where he has authored numerous publications on songbirds and restoration ecology.
Advance registration is now available.
Presented with support from the Wade Research Foundation.
