Making Connections for Forestry & Wildlife – Landowner Expo in Georgia

December 15, 2021

The Georgia Sentinel Landscape Forestry & Wildlife Landowner Expo was hosted by The Longleaf Alliance and partners on December 1st at the Mary Kahrs Warnell Forest Education Center in Georgia. The Expo boasted experts from a dozen natural resource organizations who discussed sources of professional assistance, financial incentives, and other programs available to help landowners best manage their property. Private landowners and forestry consultants who attended were able to network with one another and partners and learn who to call to get a prescribed burning permit, where they could get soil samples tested, and who could create a quail habitat management plan for their property just to name a few.
