Cameron Meredith

Cameron Meredith serves on the the Gulf Coastal Plain Ecosystem Partnership (GCPEP) Ambystoma bishopi (AMBBIS) Restoration Team, or A.R.T. for short, assisting with reticulated flatwoods salamander recovery and wetland habitat restoration. Cameron graduated from Virginia Tech in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology. He is interested in herpetology, habitat restoration, and fire ecology. Since graduating, he has worked as a technician on research projects studying white-tailed deer, and spent time as a silvicultural technician, wildland firefighter, and prescribed fire crew member. Cameron has experience in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia as well as the Coastal Plain and Sandhills of North Carolina. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, field herping, and visiting National Parks.
