Forrest Pettay

Forrest Pettay is a second-generation forester whose career is rooted in a strong commitment to sustainable forest management and wildlife conservation. He earned an Associate of Applied Science in Forest Management Technology from Haywood Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from North Carolina State University.

Since graduating, Forrest has worked on a variety of forest resource management projects and has held positions as an NFI Forester with the National Wild Turkey Federation, where he supported Habitat for the Hatch initiatives, and as a Private Lands Biologist with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. His professional experience includes forest stewardship, wildlife habitat enhancement, and collaboration with private landowners to achieve long-term conservation and land management objectives.
