Lisa Lord

Lisa Lord is the Vice President for Operations for The Longleaf Alliance, where she leads initiatives to advance longleaf forest restoration and conservation by expanding market opportunities for longleaf pine, developing programs that enhance forest health and resilience, and working with partners to recover wildlife populations. Prior to joining The Longleaf Alliance in 2017, Lisa managed the Beaufort County Rural and Critical Lands Program, where she played a key role in protecting and managing critical conservation lands. She also worked with The Nature Conservancy collaborating with private landowners on habitat management and conservation easement stewardship. Lisa holds a B.S. in Wildlife Science, an M.Ed. from Auburn University, and an M.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology from Clemson University. She has been a Certified Wildlife Biologist® since 2013. Additionally, Lisa serves on the Executive Board of the South Carolina Chapter of The Wildlife Society and is the former chair of the Prescribed Fire Council.
