Fire & Longleaf will guide landowners and natural resource professionals through the longleaf-specific considerations to address when planning to burn, and contribute to achieving more desirable effects when managing with fire. Staff instructors from The Longleaf Alliance and partner agencies will guide participants through evaluating, planning, igniting, and managing prescribed fires during this 3-day Longleaf Academy.
Weather-permitting, there will be a demonstration burn, or a tour of local areas being managed with fire.
