TLA is teaming up with Coastal Expeditions for their first-ever paddle+hike from Hampton Plantation in McClellanville, SC on Saturday, October 23rd.
Lisa Lord of The Longleaf Alliance will lead a 2-3 mile hike on the Francis Marion National Forest, talking about the unique ecology of longleaf pine forests. After a break for a picnic lunch, Coastal Expeditions guides will lead a paddle from Hampton Creek to Wambaw Creek.
WHAT TO WEAR?
Dress in layers appropriate for the weather, hat, and walking shoes. Your feet may get wet, so choose appropriate footwear.
WHAT TO BRING?
Drinking water, sunscreen, insect repellent, bagged lunch and snacks. Paddle gear supplied.
Registration cost ($99) will include a donation to TLA.
