Fire & Longleaf will guide landowners and natural resource professionals through the longleaf-specific considerations to address when planning to burn, and contribute to achieving more desirable effects when managing with fire. Staff instructors from The Longleaf Alliance and partner agencies will guide participants through evaluating, planning, igniting and managing prescribed fires during this 3-day Longleaf Academy.

The Longleaf 101 Academy will provide expert instruction from The Longleaf Alliance and featured guest speakers in “all things longleaf”. The course will consist of both classroom and field learning to begin or enhance your longleaf education, no matter your experience level.
