Emma McKee

Emma received her B.A. in Urban Environmental Studies from Birmingham Southern College. She worked as one of TLA’s first WEST team members from 2018 to 2019 and gained much experience in prescribed fire and mechanical and chemical restoration efforts. Emma relocated to Norfolk, VA when her husband’s military service required transfer. While in VA she worked as a landscape crew leader technician. After moving back to Florida in 2022 she returned to TLA as the Invasive Species Coordinator. Emma is a native Floridian with a deep love and appreciation for the longleaf pine ecosystem. She describes working with TLA as, “a dream come true.”
